U3a Chess Network

Chess Network

The u3a Chess Network is an initiative created by our two chess subject advisors David Castle and Rob Kruszynski.

The aim of the Network is to encourage local u3a chess groups who play face-to-face and the playing of chess online at the local, regional and national level. All chess abilities are catered for and we especially welcome members who have just started playing chess.

When you join the Chess Network you will receive occasional newsletters, invitations to Zoom meetings and the opportunity to contact other u3a Chess Network members who would like to play online.

If you would like advice on starting a Chess group in your u3a contact the Chess Subject Advisor on the national U3A website.
