Who do we collect personal data from?
The Network collects personal information from people requesting newsletters and
members.
What data do we collect?
We collect name, email address, the U3A you belong to and some of your preferences
around the playing of chess.
How do we use your data?
email address: we use it to keep you up-to-date with our meetings, events
and activities
Name: we use it to keep a list of members
Your U3A: by asking you this we hope you are a member of the U3A
Chess preferences: so we can contact you about those activities you might like to
take part in like a Chess League
Who do we share your data with?
We keep the list of members’ email addresses on a Google Group
