Blue15 League

The Blue15 League based on a 15 minute time control.   

Time control of 15 minutes + 10s (15:10) per move. This means each player starts with 15:10 on the clock. Players can, by mutual agreement, play at a different time control (this may suit novice players).

• Two games to play against each opponent; one as white and one as black. 
• Divisions of 6 players. So each month you have 5 opponents to play.
• New players will enter into an appropriate division
• Promotion and relegation is usually of 2 up/down each month. In the event of a tie for these positions then they will be decided by lot
• Matches to be played on Chess.com (we are testing a script to automatically capture results from matches played on the Chess.com website).

League Organisation

The leagues run on a calendar monthly cycle. When you register to join the Leagues you will be included in the next available month in the lowest division.

At the start of each month the new league tables will be posted on the website BLOG and HOME pages .  It is up to each player to contact the others in his or her league to make arrangements to play matches for the current month.
